Always have time with your family!

Boom, boom the sound was enormous as it played in our head what it was going to be like, as we waited for it to get dark!
It was the fourth of July, Independence Day of the United States on July fourth 1976, by the Continental Congress declaring that the thirteen colonies regarded themselves as a new nation! My cousins and I did huge sparklers on the boat! We were at Lake Cherokee! Mallory was so ecstatic that it was about to start! Her face was as red as cherry pie! There were tons of boats out on the lake waiting to see the gorgeous colorful fireworks! It was getting extremely dark! All of the sudden Boom, bang, crash, the colorful fireworks exploded in the air going left and right! They were going everywhere it was awesome they were huge and very bright! It was a blast to sit and enjoy a wonderful day with my family and watch such a beautiful site. At the end of the fireworks show they shot up a huge American flag with shooting stars coming out of it!It was a fantastic enjoyable day! We all applauded and headed back to the lake house!
Always have time with your family. When I have my own children I will tell them that amazing day on the lake!

Holocaust Lessons

One thing I learned from the holocaust:

Don’t  judge people by what they look like or dress like or what their hair color is. Example There were students walking in a library, and did not want a book because of its cover the librarian told her you would enjoy it! She read a couple of pages and found out it was the best book she has ever read!  Never be fooled by what you see on the outside because on the inside it is often a different story.

Second thing I learned from the Holocaust:

Sometimes we just have to let things go even if we do not get what we want.

(Anecdote) One time In Volleyball the ref called a bad call and everyone started to get mad but we had to just let things go because it is what it is.

Number the Stars

Dear Diary.

Someone had just knocked on the door. Momma will you get the door? Yes sweetie said my mom. I smiled back. It was Ellen mom talking in a deep quiet voice. I was trying to listen but i just could not here. I could tell that my mom had a look of fighting. When momma came back in I could tell that she was trying to cover it up. She spoke and said Ellen will be staying with us for a couple of nights! I was so ecstatic! Ellen went and got her stuff then she came back. We all ate dinner than Kiristi went with mom in the dark room to tell a bedtime story. Papa had sat down and told Ellen and I that if anyone came in to night Ellen would be your pretend sister! ‘Papa said we can only hide one not three’. Peter took Ellen parents to hide because they were jewish. The soldiers were going to take all the Jewish and kill them. Ellen and I went to the bed and giggled and told stories. Papa came in and said ‘ to night is going to be a long night’.

5th Grade Reflections

This year i have enjoyed all my teachers Mrs. Loube , Mrs. Brantly, Mrs. McFall, Mr. Oynes, and Mr. Mcbride.  They have taught me a lot  if it was not for them i would not be this smart as i am today i don’t think they can give more than what they gave me thank you for teaching me this year. Even though next year we don’t have outside next year we have had it for 6 years. we only have 7 years with out it i think we can survive that. We are going to middle school next year. 5th grade as went by so fast and i’m going to miss all the teachers who has given me all they got thank you for teaching me this year. Hope you have a fun time next year with the forth graders. We will miss you so much. Once again thank you.

So Long 5th Grade

The most important thing I learned this year is all 50 states and capitals.

My favorite project was our PBL second one which was lazar tag.

I was surprised by of how much 5th grade grew this year we are way more mature the we were last year.

The thing I disliked was when we got punished but we deserved it.

Mother’s Day!

My mom means everything in the world to me. She takes good care of me. When I feel down she cheers me up when I get hurt she helps me up. My mom would do anything to help me thats why I want to give her a big thank you for all you have done for me. She she takes care of me and I could not ask for any better mom. Thanks for all you have done in all your three kids life, counting me. I love you! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
