On april 1,1931 The lookouts were suposed to play agiast the New Yourk Yankees this game was awesome not because the Lookouts were playing agaist the yankees the amazing news was that the Lookouts had a girl pitcher named jackie Mitchell. they said today was a good day to play because the skies were clear.So on april 2nd they would start the game.Since his pop had left to go find a better job his mother pitched pennies even tighter that usall. Two people made a bet that jakie mitchell would strike babe ruth out so the game started and jakie through a ball to warm up babe ruth and lou gehrig were watching they were to far away to see if they were nervious or not but the umpire said first batter up and babe ruth walked on to the field he got by the plate and jakie through her first pitch babe ruth swing and he missed she through her sevond pitch he missed it to she finally wounded up for her third pitch as she through the ball everyone was cheering in the back ground she through a pitch babe ruth did not swing and the umpire said strike three batters out!
